239 scientists and 1 claim - Covid is Airborne
If you recall my earlier posts in which I brought some points of building science experts who said that air filtration and better ventilation can minimise risks even if virus get aerosolise, it was advised for ventilation standards guidelines and temp and humidity requirements . Now as it going to be hopefully published by WHO that it is airborne , then unless proper design and care is taken - indoor spaces could be more susceptible to infection. I also expressed in few of my earlier posts that UV is sold like mask now without proper application inputs from sellers and not enough questions asked by buyers with all focus given on surface disinfection and no thought is being given to upper UVGI ( which kills if virus is aerosolised) this exists for years and can be used even when occupants are there in the room and is used especially for healthcare facilities. Proper air filtration system is must for office buildings. Yes it does add the pressure drop of air but technology is available now in IAQ filters which does not add air resistance when installed . At one point we say “Jaan hai to Jahan hai” but when it comes to investing for better IAQ we say “Thik Hai let’s wait and watch “. Wearing mask is all the important now . Take care .
